According to the reported data from the Midwest Real Estate Data LLC**, 2013 to date is about the same as 2012: 185 vs. 183 total residential transactions.  And their average selling prices are about the same.  The chart below shows the differences from 2011 to 2012 to 2013.

Eight condos in the 2000 block of Dayton, on a 50 x 125 lot, each sold in October 2013 for $300,000, or $2,400,000 cumulatively, and a single-family home is being built with a list price of $3,395,000 on a 25 x 125 lot that is under contract.

A property in the 2100 block of Dayton, on a 33 x 125 lot, sold in December 2011 for $1,400,000, and a single-family home is on the market at a list price of $4,595,000.

A property in the 2100 block of Fremont, on a 37 x 125 lot, sold in September 2012 for $1,400,000, and has new construction.
